The above building was constructed in the 1830's by original Buffalo settler, Moses Baker. He purchased a number of city lots
from the Holland Land Company and fought in the War of 1812. The above building was demolished in 1889 to make way for
the new headquarters of the Buffalo Savings Bank.

The Buffalo architectural firm of Green & Wicks designed the Buffalo Savings Bank building. It opened in April, 1901. For more

The bank is currently a branch of the M & T Bank.
