"The Idlers" - Image of the Atlantic Wharf, 1901



The "idlers" in the foreground are holding down part of the Atlantic Wharf on the north side of the Buffalo River
between the Evans Slip and the Commercial Slip. The elevator in the center of the photo is the place to which
the ships (Naval & Servicemen's Park) have been relocated. Note the two harbor ferry boats in action. For more
